Shefali Shah is a Security Manager, leading the GRC team at Tinder. She is involved in identifying and evaluating security risks, performing security audits and assessments, cybersecurity awareness training and education, overseeing the vendor security risk management program, and implementing, maintaining, and improving Tinder’s Information Security Management System (ISMS), thereby leading Tinder to be the first app in the dating space to achieve the ISO 27001 certification. Previously, she worked for Walmart and Dell EMC. She is very passionate about cybersecurity and lives by the ‘Trust, but Verify’ approach. Shefali earned her Masters of Science degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from SUNY Buffalo and holds CISA and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certifications.
