Michelle Koblas is responsible for Customer Security Engagements for AppDynamics, a Cisco subsidiary company providing real-time application and business performance monitoring solutions. Michelle has over 25 years experience leading cross-functional IT and Information Security teams for companies such as Guardian Analytics, Brocade, eBay and Cisco. Her expertise includes security program strategies; product and architectural review; global operational network management and design; policy development and contract negotiations; security awareness and training; business continuity planning; SaaS operations; and design and audit of security and operational controls, supporting compliance to variety of security frameworks and standards. Michelle has her CISSP and CIPP/E certifications, has been a PCI DSS QSA and received an M.S. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon and a B.S. in Computer Science from Pacific Lutheran University in Washington state. Her publications include documentation on the SOCKS protocol and research studies in network technologies and protocol applications. Michelle has been a speaker at technical conferences worldwide, holds a board position for the Silicon Valley ISSA, and also is a member of (ISC)2, ISACA, IAPP, and IEEE.
