Talk:
- The extent to which our economy and way of life is digitally-enabled is a key success. But it also presents some challenges.
DCMS’s recent Cyber Security Breaches Survey shows 39% of businesses suffered a cyber breach or attack in the past year. Despite good progress in recent years, it’s clear many organisations are still not taking action to properly manage their cyber risks. - DCMS is working to improve the incentives and regulations for businesses to manage their cyber risks, thereby protecting themselves and citizens. This includes mandating minimum standards for connected consumer devices, and improving security of digital supply chains.
- Erika will talk about what DCMS is currently doing to review business resilience and cyber security and identify what more can be done to drive action on digital resilience.
