Nick Bell is Detective Superintendent with the NPCC National Cybercrime Programme and National Policing Director for Cyber Resilience Centres (CRCs).
His role is to lead on the implementation of the Cyber Resilience Centre network across England and Wales. Nick manages the key strategic stakeholder relationships with the Home Office, Chief Officers, Police & Crime Commissioners and the private sector and supports universities and academia to develop student delivered cyber security services. He works closely with the National Cyber Security Centre and the National Cyber Protect capability in aligning the CRC network with Team Cyber UK which is the UK policing response to cybercrime.
Nick has 27 years policing experience, a career detective he joined the National Cybercrime Programme from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit where he was Head of Regional Cyber Crime, Digital Forensics and Economic Crime. Nick has extensive experience as a Senior Investigating Officer leading complex cybercrime and economic crime.
Nick also leads on a national Digital Forensics programme for Team Cyber UK for digital forensic capture at scene and also oversees the Cyber Digital Specials and Volunteers programme.
