Dr Michalis Pavlidis is a Principal Lecturer in Cyber Security at the School of Architecture, Technology, and Engineering at the University of Brighton UK, since 2014. He is also a member of the Centre for Secure, Intelligent, and Usable Systems (CSIUS). Before joining University of Brighton, he worked as a part-time Lecturer at University of East London UK.  He holds a PhD in secure software engineering. His research interests are in the areas of Cyber Threat Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Cyber Security, Threat Modelling, and Security Requirements Engineering and he has published more than 40 research papers. He has served as technical program committee member and a reviewer for many international conferences, workshops, and journals. He has worked as co-investigator on three EU H2020 funded projects, investigating cyber security challenges in supply chains, privacy challenges in public administration services, and GDPR compliance. Moreover, he is providing security consultancy services and participates in research commercialisation activities.
